Anaerobic thread sealant Three Bond 1303 overview

The Three Bond 1303 is an anaerobic thread sealant based on Methacrylate-based chemistry, developed specifically for threaded connections. In the absence of air, it polymerizes into a permanent seal in metal and fastening areas. The seal fills micro- and macro-roughness and offers high chemical and thermal resistance. In repairs it can be dismantled to allow maintenance work.

The green color and the volume 50 g per bottle make it the standard solution for small threads. With a temperature range of −60 °C to 150 °C and a shelf life of 12 months, it is suitable for both cold-temperature and high-temperature applications.

Technically it provides a compressive strength up to 35 MPa as well as a functional strength after 2 h and a full final strength after 24 h.

Suitable for small thread connections

The seal fills micro- and macro-roughness and enables reliable sealing in tight thread areas. The anaerobic reaction occurs on contact with metal surfaces and allows dismantling during repairs without damaging the thread.
