Three Bond 1305 – Anaerobic sealant overview

The Three Bond 1305 is an anaerobic sealant that serves as a medium-strength threadlocker between threaded connections. Packed in a 1 kg bottle, the product is suitable for screws from M8 to M36 and provides reliable sealing along with resistance to vibrations.

As a component of the anaerobic adhesives, it offers high chemical and thermal resistance, is liquid-dosed and solvent-free. The green color facilitates identification during assembly.

This sealant achieves a defined functional strength after 2 h as well as an end strength after 24 h and offers a compression- and shear-strength of 35 MPa, enabling even demanding screw connections to be reliably secured.

Suitable for screw connections

The medium-strength threadlocker secures threaded connections from M8 to M36 against loosening due to vibrations. The application is performed directly on the threaded or contact surfaces; an air-tight bond forms in metal-to-metal connections – without solvent.

Processing & Practical use

Surfaces must be free of grease, water and dust. Apply a thin, even layer onto the thread or contact surfaces and assemble the joint promptly. Then tighten the screws to the recommended torque of 35 N·m. The functional strength is reached after 2 h; complete curing occurs after 24 h.

The adhesive is based on Methacrylate and is used in liquid dosing. The green coloring aids quick identification in storage and during assembly, while the robust bonding between metal surfaces provides reliability in vibration-prone applications.
