The Three Bond 1342C is an Anaerobic adhesive seal based on Methacrylate, specifically developed for seals with low strength. As Variant C of the 1342, it offers fast curing and optimized dosing – ideal for parts up to M12 size.

The blue color facilitates labeling in assemblies. With a viscosity of 150 mPa s (at 25 °C) and a density of 1.10 g/cm³, the adhesive can be dosed and applied cleanly. The temperature range spans from -60 °C to 150 °C, making it suitable for cold as well as warm environments. The shelf life is 12 months. The package contains a 50 g bottle.

Typical application scenarios involve seals in threaded connections, especially for parts up to M12 size. The combination of low strength and reliable sealing performance provides controlled sealing effect during assembly and maintenance.

Apply to clean metal surfaces, bring parts together and start curing. Final strength is reached after 24 h, while functional strength is already present after 2 h. Optimal gap widths are 0.005–0.01 mm and a maximum gap tolerance of 0.15 mm prevent leaks in tight fits.
