Anaerobic Sealant Overview

The Three Bond 1360 is an anaerobic sealant based on a Methacrylate formulation in a 50 g bottle with red coloring. As part of the anaerobic adhesives family, it primarily provides thread locking and sealing for critical connections. It offers high compressive and shear strength, remains demountable, and does not shrink, enabling a reliable seal and retention.

Application notes

• Prepare the surfaces clean, free of grease and dust.
• Apply the anaerobic sealant to the threads and assemble the joint.
• As soon as oxygen is displaced, curing begins; hold the joint firmly according to the specification.
• Do not load the joint until after the recommended functional time of about 6 hours; full final strength is reached after about 36 hours.
