Three Bond 1373B – Anaerobic adhesive overview
The Three Bond 1373B is an anaerobic adhesive based on a Methacrylate basis. In a compact 50 g bottle it offers a high strength for tight fits. The bond is chemically and thermally stable and after heat activation demountable, which facilitates maintenance and replacement. With a gap tolerance of 0.01 mm the adhesive provides a precise seal, while a pressure- and shear-strength of 25–35 MPa ensures reliable load-bearing capacity. The shelf life is 9 months and the functional strength is reached after curing in about 1.5 h. The color is green and the brand is Three Bond.
The main component is Methacrylate; this choice combines good compatibility with corrosion- and temperature-resistance. The product is ideal for tight contour and connection areas where a dense adhesive seal is required.
Applications of Three Bond 1373B
The anaerobic adhesive seal is particularly suitable for shaft and hub connections as well as other assemblies with tight gaps where a robust seal is required. Demounting is achieved by applying heat, which simplifies regular maintenance and replacement without risking damage to components.
