Three Bond 1388 – Anaerobic adhesive sealant overview
The Three Bond 1388 is an anaerobic adhesive-base component based on Methacrylate in a 50 g bottle. It belongs to the product category anaerobic adhesives and serves to fill micro- and macro-roughness in gaps.
The green sealant is characterized by high chemical resistance and is especially suitable where large gaps must be filled — this corresponds to the brief note \"sealant for large gaps\".
With a viscosity of 3.0 Pa·s at 25 °C as well as a functional strength of 1–2 h, it enables controlled hardening development. The max. joint tolerance is 0.02–0.05 / 0.5 mm, ensuring precise edge-free tolerances in applications.
