The Three Bond 3065E is a UV- and anaerobically curing adhesive and sealant based on methacrylate. The dual-curing resin system reliably fills gaps and bonds metals, glass, and plastics with high strength. The combined curing creates a dense barrier against moisture, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations – ideal for seals subjected to varying loads.
Key properties include transparent appearance, high shear and peel strength, as well as chemical and thermal resistance. The main component is methacrylate, with Shore D hardness 60, Tensile strength 32 MPa, and elongation approx. 200%. For fill volumes, the viscosity at 25 °C is about 7 Pa·s and the density about 1.06 g/cm³.
Dual-Cure function: UV- & anaerob curing
The resin system is activated by UV light and can additionally cure via the anaerobic path with the Activator 1390K. In practice, this means rapid initial curing and full strength even in areas not exposed to UV light.

Properties & Benefits
Through gap filling, an even seal is produced that resists mechanical loads as well as chemical attack. The shear- and peel-strength protects joints under vibration and loads on metal, glass, and plastic. The transparency allows inconspicuous integration into visible surfaces.
Processing & Practical use
- Prepare surfaces clean, oil- and dust-free, and allow to dry thoroughly.
- Apply the sealant evenly into the gap field.
- Expose to UV for initial curing; alternatively, the Activator 1390K can be used for areas without direct exposure.
- Ensure post-curing according to the manufacturer’s instructions; observe any required waiting times.
- As needed, post-process or add material while curing is still active.
