Three Bond 1745 – Cyanoacrylate instant adhesive (high viscosity) Overview

The Three Bond 1745 belongs to the family of Cyanoacrylates and is characterized by high viscosity as well as gap-filling up to 0.25 mm. The clear, colorless liquid is based on Ethyl cyanoacrylate and exhibits a viscosity of about 500 mPa·s and a density of 1.05 g/cm³. These properties enable fast, stable bonds even on porous substrates.

With a cure time of about 10 s, the bonds achieve considerable strength. The operating temperature range spans from lows to highs (-40 to 85 °C), making the adhesive reliably functional in many industrial fields. The shear strength is about 22.9 MPa, and the shelf life is 12 months.
