Adhesive Three Bond 1537E – A20108 at a glance
The Three Bond 1537E is a Silyl-Polymer adhesive in 330 ml cartridge, UL94 V-0 certified and silicone- & isocyanate-free. It is particularly suitable for electronics encapsulation thanks to its high mechanical and electrical performance.
The gray paste offers stable adhesion on typical electronics substrates and meets industry requirements for flame retardancy and safety. Key figures: Viscosity (25 °C) approx 90 mPa·s, Density (25 °C) approx 1.66 g/cm³, temperature range from -60 to 150 °C, shelf life 6 months, curing time approx 30 s, shear strength approx 24.2 MPa.
Suitable for electronics encapsulation and housing assembly
Electronics encapsulation
Due to the UL94 V-0 certification the adhesive provides fire protection, while the Silyl-Polymer system ensures good adhesion to metals and ceramic components. The silicone- & isocyanate-free formulation reduces outgassing and supports reliable encapsulation of sensitive electronic components.
Assembly and adhesive applications
The 1K system simplifies application, enables fast curing and high mechanical strength. The gray formulation facilitates optical integration into housings and components.

Formulation and application notes
Due to the UL94 V-0 certification the adhesive is particularly suitable for safety-relevant electronics applications. The Silyl-Polymer base material provides reliable adhesion under moderate environmental conditions and also offers resistance to aging.
Processing tips
- Thoroughly clean and keep surfaces dry.
- Adjust the amount of adhesive applied to the component and housing; ensure even distribution.
- Observe a short curing time after application; pay attention to the temperature range.
