The Three Bond 2212B is a 1K epoxy resin with high Tg (approx. 130 °C). Available in a practical 1 kg can, it is suitable for potting and fastening applications where reliable electrical insulation and low outgassing are required.
The viscosity lies at about 25 Pa·s and the density at about 1.39 g/cm³ at 25 °C. With Shore D 84 hardness it provides robust mechanical strength, while a shear strength of 40 MPa ensures reliability in load transfer. Curing occurs at 150 °C for approx. 30 minutes or alternatively by HF induction in seconds – enabling flexible manufacturing processes.
Suitable for Potting and Fastening
Excellent electrical properties and low outgassing make Three Bond 2212B ideal for potting sensitive electronic components as well as for fastening components where temperature resistance is required. The black pigmentation facilitates clear visibility on mounting surfaces without affecting your measurements.
