Overview of Three Bond 2273D epoxy resin
The Three Bond 2273D is a 1K epoxy resin with induction curing and comes as a 20 kg pail. As an induction resin it can cure especially quickly, ideal for serial bonding processes.
With over 99% solids content and minimal shrinkage the product provides high strength and excellent chemical resistance. The induction curing enables very short process times – especially with ferritic and steel components.
Its white color facilitates visual inspection during processing; viscosity of 73 Pa·s at 25 °C and a density of 1.15 g/cm³ influence the application behavior. Curing occurs at 120 °C in 90 minutes, enabling robust, fast bonds.
Suitable for fast induction curing of ferritic and steel components
The short-time induction curing is particularly suitable where part cycle times must be minimized, e.g., with ferritic materials or steel elements, without risking high residual distortion.
