Epoxy Adhesive Three Bond 2273D at a glance
The epoxy adhesive Three Bond 2273D is a 1K epoxy resin with integrated induction curing, packaged in a 310 ml cartridge. Specifically developed for ferritic or steel components, this system enables very fast curing directly in the manufacturing process.
The adhesive is characterized by a high solids content (> 99%) and low shrinkage. The resulting bond offers high strength and good chemical resistance. The color White facilitates visual inspection of the adhesive application on complex contours.
Suitable for ferrites and steel
Ferritic components
The induction curing provides fast, high-load cross-linking on ferritic surfaces, without long dwell times. This reduces process times and increases throughput.
Steel assemblies
Also on solid steel the adhesive provides robust bonding at moderate temperatures. High strength remains even after chemical exposure.

High strength & low shrinkage
The high solids content and the epoxy resin system enable strong adhesion with minimal shrinkage. The result are solid bonds that also withstand chemical exposure and better tolerate pressure shocks.
Processing & Practice
- Clean and degrease surfaces to avoid loss of adhesion.
- Apply adhesive evenly or distribute between components.
- Position and fix components to prevent movement.
- Perform induction curing: 120 °C, approx. 90 minutes.
- Cool and perform functional test, if necessary check post-curing.
Construction & Material Selection
Construction: One-component epoxy resin system with white appearance. The choice of resin provides high environmental and chemical resistance as well as good temperature resistance.
