The Three Bond 3166 - UV silicone (soft CIPG) - 12 kg bucket is a 1K, solvent-free UV-curing adhesive that is ideal for rubber-elastic CIPG seals. With Blue as the dye, it offers good visibility during application. The viscosity is approx. 330 mPa·s, the density approx. 1.01 g/cm³. The temperature range runs from -40 °C to 120 °C, and the seal can accommodate 500 % elongation while maintaining a tensile strength of 0.8 MPa. The hardness is E15, and the curing occurs at approx. 150 °C in approx. 30 minutes. This combination enables rapid final strength and reliable seals in demanding applications.

The application is straightforward: 1K, solvent-free, UV exposure leads to rapid final strength. The material is particularly suitable for seals that require flexibility and resistance to temperature cycling.
