The Three Bond 1401 threadlocking compound is an elastic, removable threadlocker based on Resin & Rubber. Available in a 200 g can, it reliably protects threads from loosening, leakage and corrosion.

It adapts flexibly to thread profiles and enables retroactive disassembly without damaging the thread. The substance is transparent; typical values: Viscosity at 25 °C ca. 350 mPa s and Density ca. 0.88 g/cm3 at 25 °C.

Suitable for metal threads in machines and systems

This threadlocking compound is used on threaded connections of metal parts in machines, pumps and systems that are subjected to vibrations or dynamic loads. Through the elastic bonding, loosening, leakage and corrosion are effectively reduced.

Corrosion and leakage protection

The resin-rubber binding provides adhesion to the thread and protects against corrosion as well as fluid leakage through threaded connections. The result is a robust, durable connection with controllable demounting.
