Three Bond 1207C – RTV silicone liquid gasket (A20021) overview

The Three Bond 1207C is an RTV silicone liquid gasket in a 150 g Tube. It offers extremely fast skin formation and immediate sealing action, especially for water pumps, heat exchangers and oil pans.

As main component, RTV silicone is used in an acetone system. The sealant appears in a dark red color and is offered in practical formats (150 g Tubes, 333 ml Cartridges, 20 kg Pails) with a shelf life of up to 12 months.

Applications

Water pumps, heat exchangers and oil pans

Due to its high load capacity and rapid skin formation, the sealant is ideal for seals in water pumps, heat exchangers and oil pans where reliable sealing is required immediately after application.

General seals in mechanical engineering applications

Also for pumps, valves and covers in industrial plants, the RTV silicone sealant is suitable, as it can withstand temperature spikes and ensures a durable seal.

Processing and practical use
