Sealant Three Bond 1207C Overview

The Three Bond 1207C is an RTV silicone liquid gasket in the cartridge 333 M, designed for assemblies where a removable seal is desired. As part of the Three Bond RTV-silicone family, it provides rapid skin formation and a robust seal throughout its service life.

The color is dark red, and the RTV silicone is based on an acetone system. This combination provides good adhesion to typical sealant and surface materials.

With a viscosity of 70 Pa·s at 25 °C, a density of 1.50 g/cm³, and a Shore hardness D 60, the material combines flow, strength, and shape stability. The seal expands up to 170% and achieves a tensile strength of 4 MPa, which is advantageous especially for loaded sealing surfaces.

Suitable for water pumps, heat exchangers and oil pans

Water pumps

Thanks to the rapid skin formation, the seal can be installed promptly and reliably protected against leaks.

Heat exchangers

The high temperature resistance up to 200 °C (briefly up to 250 °C) enables long-term reliability in hot contact areas.

Oil pans

Resistant to lubricants and oils, the seal reduces maintenance costs through durable sealing performance over longer periods.
