Three Bond 1359J - M tihärtender Klebstoff (Acryl-Urethan) - 50 g Tube
Three Bond 1359J – A20068 overview
The Three Bond 1359J is an M-curing adhesive made from acrylate-urethane, available in 50 g tubes. As an industrial adhesive in the category of adhesives, it forms a durable bond on metal, glass, and plastics. The curing occurs quickly, especially when primer or UV curing is used, making it suitable for gaps up to about 0.5 mm. The right choice of this adhesive enables high strength with large gaps and rough surfaces.
Suitable for metal, glass and plastics
Metal and glass surfaces
Adheres reliably to metal and glass, even under demanding conditions. The combination of acrylate-urethane and the option of activation via primer or UV provides a fast, durable bond.
Plastics
Also on plastics the adhesive proves to be a robust solution, provided clean surfaces are prepared. The very high strength in gaps enables reliable repairs and bonding joints.
Technical data of the adhesive
- Part number: A20068
- Viscosity at 25 °C: approx. 30 Pa·s
- Density at 25 °C: approx. 1.07 g/cm³
- Temperature range: -40 to 150 °C
- Shore hardness (DIN 53505): approx. 65
- Max gap tolerance: 0.5 mm
- UV energy: 2000 MJ/cm²
Properties & Benefits
Thanks to the high strength even for large gaps, the adhesive consumption is reduced, and repairs can be performed with less material waste. The shelf life of about 12 months provides planning certainty, while the color (transparent to yellow) depending on the application yields an unobtrusive bond.
Processing & Practice
- Clean and prepare surfaces.
- Apply the adhesive; use primer if required or apply UV curing.
- Assemble the bond and allow to cure; functional strength reached after about 2 h.
