Three Bond 1227C – RTV Silicone Liquid Gasket Overview

The Three Bond 1227C is a RTV silicone liquid gasket for demanding seals. As part of the Three Bond product family, it impresses with extremely fast curing and high resistance to oils and chemicals. The cartridge has 310 ml content and comes in gray.

Your system is based on a methanol system, which ensures reliable adhesion on metallic surfaces. The combination of viscosity ca. 300 mPa·s at 25 °C and density of 1.24 g/cm³ enables good flow during assembly and a dense, durable seal under pressure.

Suitable for Seals in Vibrating Systems

The gasket is specially formulated for heavily vibrating flanges and stressed connections. The extremely fast curing minimizes leak times and provides a secure internal seal even under changing temperatures.

Thanks to its high oil and chemical resistance it protects the sealing surfaces against aggressive media and minimizes the ingress of lubricants. The temperature range according to the specification is -60 °C to 200 °C (short-term up to 250 °C).
