The Three Bond 1227C is a RTV silicone liquid gasket in 50 ml cartridge. As a robust sealing material, it is particularly suitable for heavily vibrating flange connections and demanding sealing joints in industry.
Designed for a wide temperature range from -60 °C to 200 °C (briefly up to around 250 °C), it offers excellent oil- and chemical-resistance as well as good sealing performance against aggressive media.

Suitable for metal and sealing connections
The sealant is especially suitable for heavily vibrating flange connections where reliable adhesion and sealing action over a long period are required. The RTV character provides a chemical- and oil-repellent barrier that also withstands robust media.
With an elongation of 310 % and a tensile strength of 2.7 MPa, the sealant offers safe deformation under vibrations without pores or leaks.
Application & Practical Use
- Prepare surfaces: clean, dry, and free of grease.
- Apply the sealant evenly into the gap or around the circumference.
- Join assembled components and avoid stresses; observe surface drying time of approx. 7 minutes.
