Sealant Three Bond 3035B at a Glance

The Three Bond 3035B is a UV-curing sealant based on acrylic resin, developed specifically for DSSCs (Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells). As a 1K, solvent-free formulated seal, the film can be applied with minimal shrinkage and forms a milky-white, flexible protective layer against moisture and electrolyte permeation. The combination of UV-curing and low moisture content ensures short curing times while maintaining good long-term stability.

The material is designed to serve as the main seal in the DSSC architecture, thereby providing a hermetic barrier without compromising the optical properties of the cell. The main component is acrylic resin, which cures quickly under UV light and enables flexible film formation.

Suitable for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs)

Due to the UV-curing, the process time in manufacturing is significantly reduced. The sealant remains stable even with moderate moisture resistance and enables applications in tight gaps between transparent electrodes and front viewing windows.
