The Three Bond 1216 is an RTV silicone liquid gasket in a 120 g tube, designed for gaskets in oil pans, transmission housings and water pumps. As a silicone-based sealant, it offers reliable sealing at high operating temperatures and can be easily applied thanks to its good dispensing characteristics.
It impresses with very fast surface drying, low shrinkage and good resistance to oils and lubricants. The temperature range extends from -60 °C to 200 °C (briefly up to 250 °C). The gray sealant remains flexible and forms a durable seal.
