Sealant Three Bond 1184 at a glance

The Three Bond 1184 is a semi-drying rubber gasket made of synthetic specialty rubber, gray in color. As a sealant it belongs to the Sealant category and is ideal wherever a flexible gasket with good cushioning is required. The compound provides high cushioning effect and remains tight even on rough flange surfaces. It is water-, oil- and gasoline-stable and withstands operating temperatures of -40 °C to 150 °C. The viscosity at 25 °C is about 9.5 mPa·s and the density is 1.26 g/cm³. Shelf life is indicated as up to 12 months.

Due to its formulation, the gasket can also be reliably used under dynamic conditions, where flexibility and sealing performance are preserved.
