Sealant Three Bond 1119 Overview

The Three Bond 1119 is a two-component PFPE liquid gasket in tube sets. It offers high pressure resistance and is suitable for aggressive media, fuels and oils. The curing is accelerated by heat. Item number A20009.

Suitable for aggressive media and fuel systems

The PFPE gasket is particularly suitable for applications in engines, pumps and transmissions where aggressive chemicals, fuels or oils are present. The Mixing ratio is 1:1 by weight and enables simple, reproducible processing.

Processing instructions

Before applying, clean surfaces, ensure they are dry and free of oil. Mix 1:1 by weight thoroughly and apply evenly. The curing can be accelerated by heat; temperature range -30 °C to 150 °C should be observed.

Structure and materials

Main components

The seal is based on perfluoropolyether (A/B) in a 1:1 mixing ratio. The colors Black/White facilitate labeling of the components.

Processing and compatibility

Through the robust PFPE bonding, the system offers good adhesion and chemical resistance in demanding media.

Special features

Temperature resistant up to 150 °C

The specified temperature range extends from -30 °C to 150 °C, making the gasket suitable for engine and transmission environments.

Accelerated curing through heat

Curing can be accelerated by heat to reduce downtime and enable quick availability.

Processing & practical use

  1. Surface preparation (clean, dry, oil-free).
  2. Mix 1:1 by weight and mix evenly.
  3. Apply in the contour and avoid air bubbles.
  4. Allow curing by heat (observe the temperature window).
  5. Perform final inspection and store properly.
